HOUSE CHECK REGISTRATIONS

SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENTThe Spring Lake Heights Police Department wants the residents of Spring Lake Heights to be able to leave their home for extended periods without worry. Our department provides a free service where our patrols frequently check on your vacant home while you are away.

Homes that are registered with this service will be periodically checked by our police officers for the duration of your absence. During these checks, officers will ensure that all doors, windows, garages, etc. on the property are secure. If anything has been opened, officers will check to make sure there have been no unauthorized entries before securing the property again. If there appears to be damage to the residence, an officer will immediately contact the homeowner to advise them of the damage as well as investigate further. If the homeowner cannot be reached, an officer will call the emergency contact on the attached form.
