TEMPORARY HANDICAPPED PARKING PLACARDS
Applications for Temporary Handicapped Parking Placards can be picked up during normal business hours and can also be found on the NJ Division of Motor Vehicle’s website and by clicking on the link below. They must be completed, signed by a medical doctor, and returned with a $4.00 check or money order payable to “NJMVC.” These temporary permits will be issued only when necessary and when the applicant’s physical condition is not permanent. These permits last six months and can be extended an additional six months when necessary. Permanent placards can be obtained through the NJMVC (formerly known as the DMV).
