At a ceremony this morning in the Spring Lake Heights Elementary School gymnasium, Mrs. Donna Graetz, Spring Lake Heights Police Department Crossing Guard, was named as one of the two inaugural Spring Lake Heights Elementary School Heights Heroes as nominated and voted on by the students of the Spring Lake Heights Elementary School. The entire student body, faculty and staff and many other community members were in attendance to surprise Mrs. Graetz and Mr. John Kuriscak with this honor for their contributions to the Spring Lake Heights School and Community Family. Developed by the Spring Lake Heights Elementary School’s Climate Team, this program is designed to recognize those school and community members whose community efforts extend beyond the walls of the Spring Lake Heights Elementary School.
